Lilliput Lane
Only around 40 of these galleries have survived to this day and, although their real purpose is somewhat obscure, it is thought that they were traditionally used for drying and airing yarn as well as spinning wool.
The little cat standing on the front staircase is no doubt glad of the sheltered gallery on rainy days too!
