In 1830 in the small Highland village of Callander in Perthshire, Donald Campbell baked his first trays of rich golden shortbread. Now over 180 years and six generations later, this internationally famous small village bakery is Scotland’s oldest bakery and it is still in the same Campbell family. Their products are made without colourings, flavours or preservatives and all are 100% pure butter with no margarine or animal or vegetable fats.
When it comes to presentation and packaging, they are quite simply the best in the market place. Their packs are heavily embossed, with product contained within gold wrapped bags and skillets. Larger packs and tins contain individual stay fresh skillets instead of one large skillet (for example 3 x 150g skillets within a 450g pack).
