Couthie Pairs Scottish Card Game: The classic Pairs card game is given a Scottish flavour. Match the pairs but this time you must match the pictures with the Scottish words.
Shuffle the cards, lay them face down. First player turns over two cards. If the picture matches the Scottish word the player keeps the cards and tries again for another match. If they do not match, the cards are turned over again and the next player takes a turn. Each player must memorise the cards, so they can make a match. When all of the cards have been matched, players count their pairs. The one with the most pairs win!
