The pretty blue-coloured plaster rendering of this Cornflower Cottage in Comberton inspired the sculptors of this piece. The steep pitch of the reed thatch is a giveaway as to the location of this typical vernacular gem, which was built somewhere between the early and mid-seventeenth century.
